Fue presidente del Tribunal Superior del Distrito Judicial de Villavicencio. En sus m\u00e1s de treinta a\u00f1os de ejercicio profesional en la judicatura, se ha desempe\u00f1ado como juez promiscuo Municipal, promiscuo de Circuito y Civil del Circuito, magistrado auxiliar de la Sala de Casaci\u00f3n Civil de la Corte Suprema de Justicia y magistrado titular de los tribunales superiores de Medell\u00edn y Villavicencio.
